Pharmacy Malpractice

With computer technology, many think that the likelihood of a mistake by a pharmacist is low. Unfortunately, we continue to see cases where pharmacies give patients the wrong medication. (See Link to Article) In one shocking case that we recently handled, a pharmacy placed the wrong medication in the dispensing bin. As a result, not only did our client receive the wrong medication, but every customer that got that medication for approximately three months received the wrong medication.

Marty McDonald and Farrell A. Levy have both successfully handled several cases involving pharmacy malpractice. Both are experienced personal injury attorneys who understand the effort needed to win in such cases. Remember, such cases are important for two reasons. They enable our client to receive compensation for his injuries. Such cases also encourage pharmacies to use better practices to prevent such errors.

Farrell A. Levy is a Board Certified Trial Advocate by the National Board of Trial Advocacy and is certified as Civil Trial Specialist by the Tennessee Commission on Continuing Legal Education and Specialization. He has been selected as a Fellow of the Council of Litigation Fellows. Farrell has been selected as a Super Lawyer in Plaintiff's Personal Injury in the Mid-South Super Lawyers magazine for 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009.
